How do I know there is a Change Request I need to work on?
Worklflow Notification Email
If you have a Workflow Role in Yonder, you will receive an email notifying you that there is a change request event for you to action, for example as a Document Owner, Approver or Editor. The email is sent at approximately 0100hrs (CET) to any workflow participant who should be notified of an event:
As can be seen above the email will a short summary of the type of activity in the workflow, in this case there have been “2 new change requests notifications” triggered.
Also, the email will contain a link which when clicked will take you to the Yonder Dashboard.
Once in the Dashboard, you will see the workflow notifications show in the column “Workflow”:
In the example above, we have some new change requests and by using the column “filter”, the blue button in the column, you can filter out the relevant notifications:
Here we will use the filter to find the "status change of CRs" using the “Type” filter:
Then tick the box "status change of CRs":
Then close the filter to show the relevant CRs in the column:
Clicking on the notifications in the column will take you directly to the Change Request view in Yonder, where it is possible to see all the details of the CR:
If there is an action for you to undertake then the CR view will be populated with the workflow action buttons (left side of the view) and you can then control the Change Request as required in your company's workflow.
“MY CR” Tab in the “Workflow” Column
In addition, for those Change Requests which you have personally created in Yonder, the tab “My CR” allows you to see them, (if there are any ……… in this case there is nothing to be done as the user has not created any) and to work on them in your company's workflow:
