Reused Content
Discover why using reused content can be an effective way to integrate content without duplication.
General
Reused content can be used, not to duplicate information. When the original content is updated, you simply have to approve the revised content to have it adjusted.
Add reused content
- Navigate to the module you want to copy. Yonder supports both - add to clipboard in the reader or in the admin console:
- Add to the clipboard in the reader
- Add to the clipboard in the admin console
- Add to the clipboard in the reader
- Navigate to the document where you want to reuse the content
- Click on Edit
- Select Add RC
- Copy the chapter with or without children (sub-chapters) and click Add
- Click on Edit
Update reused content
When reusing content please consider following points
- Only released content can be reused
- When the source document is updated and released, the reused content can be updated
- The reused content (in the target) can only be updated during a revision of the target document.
Below are the steps on how to update:
- Open a new revision in targeted document and chose FreeEdit
- Chose Edit
- select Update RCs
- Select the effective date and click Update
- Please Save, Close FreeEdit and Publish
