User Settings
Configure the Yonder Reader to your specifications
The general user settings are located on the top left of the Yonder Reader Dashboard, as depicted in the image below.
Clicking on the icon highlighted in the image above pulls out the sidebar on the left hand side. Remark: The visible options that the actual user sees may differ from the image depicted below and depends on the actual user permissions.
Administration
Grants access to the admin panel and the Yonder Content Manager (if accessible by a given user).
Information
Provides general information on the currently deployed Yonder version.
Night Mode
Allows users to toggle between day- and night mode.
Role Settings
Allows users to select their respective roles and filters for all documents.
Doing so automatically limits the available document scope for the user. In addition, it will pre-select all of the corresponding filter criteria within any documentation, thereby limiting the visible content within documents to what's truly relevant to the user's respective role selection.
To deselect all set roles, click RESET at the bottom of the Role Settings menu, as depicted in the image below.
Remarks:
- Depending on your organizational setup, the appropriate role settings may be pulled directly from the active directory services of your company upon login. Hence, they may already be pre-selected for you.
- Within a given document, you may still be able to change filter settings, thereby adjusting the scope of visible information according your needs at all times.
