How do I create a Change Request (CR) in a module?

It is possible to create the following “Change Requests (CR)” in Yonder:

Opposite is the visual representation of the buttons available in Yonder for Users who wish to create various Change Requests

Edit Content: Use this button when you want to change or add content to a module.

Edit Title: Use this button if you wish to change the title of a module

Add Module: Use this button to add a new module in the document.

Delete Module: Use this button if you wish to delete a module

Creating a “Change Request”

To start the process of creating a Change Request via the Dashboard, navigate to the relevant module in the document where you wish to create the Change request and open the module view using the “Cheveron” located at the top right of the module:

With the module opened, click on the “Change Request” tab shown on the right side of the module view:

The blue icon which allows access to the Change Request buttons should be shown at the bottom right of the module view:

It could be that the blue icon is not shown, if this is the case, check that you have the current effective version of the document open and not the Draft version. Change Requests can only be created in the current effective version of a document:

In the case above the Draft version of the document is opened, so there is no blue icon shown, by selecting the current version “Demo OM-A V3” the blue icon will be shown. 

The buttons used for creating the Change Request required should be shown on the bottom right of the module view after the blue icon has been clicked:

Creating an “Edit Content” Change Request

To create a Change Request click on the required type of Change Request. In this case it is an “Edit Content” Change Request. Clicking on the button will open the following view:

Add the content you wish to add and then click “Next”:

Add a “CR Title” for your Change Request and click on the “Submit” button:

After clicking the “Submit” button, the Change Request will be shown below the Module Content Window:

Clicking on the Change Request, a detailed view will be shown where files can be attached (Attachments tab), comments can be added (Discussion Tab). Also, with the correct workflow role the change Request can moved through the company specific workflow using the buttons shown on the left side of the Change Request view:
