Favorites

Simple description on how to manage your favorites and favorite groups.

General

Favorites can be set on documents and chapters.  Favorites are user specific and only visible to the user that created them.

Favorites can be organized in favorite folders. Both are synchronized between the Online Reader and the Offline Reader.

  • when setting a module or document (by clicking on the star icon), the available folders will be shown in a popup.
  • otherwise if you don't want to assign a favorite to a dedicated folder simply select ‘’Ungrouped'.

Set a document favorite

There are mulitple ways to set your document as favorite.

Set favorite in the list

Simply swipe the document list entry to the left and select / deselect the favorite icon:

Set favorite on the opened document

Open the document and click in the star icon left of the document title

Set a chapter favorite

Open the document and make sure that the ‘Show chapter functions’ in the settings menu are activated. Clicking the star icon in the toolbar of the module will set / remove the favorite from the module.

Favorite folders

Favorite folders help you to organize your personal favorites. Folders are user specific and only visible to the user that created them.

Notes:

  • Favorite folders support currently no sub-folders.
  • Moving a favorite to another group is currently not possible. It must be removed first and then set again so that the required favorite group can be selected.

Adding new favorite folder

Click ‘New folder’ within the favorites section to create a new folder.

While creating a new folder you have to decide if you want to create this folder for chapters or documents.

Delete a favorite folder

Folders can be deleted by clicking the ‘Edit’ button on the of the primary sidebar.

Once the primary sidebar is in edit mode please click the delete button to remove the selected folder:

If the folder contains favorites, you will be asked if all favorites within the folder will be deleted or otherwise the favorites are retained. In this case, all favorites will be moved to the ‘Ungrouped’ folder.
